All Change Again - DIAC new July 2011 Points Test

As many would be Australian Visa applicants are now aware, the main residency points based system is changing (again) on the 1st July 2011. The new GSM pass mark will be set at 65 points and noticably there will be tougher English language requirements for all applicants, regardless of country of origin. The new points system will also favour those applicants with either Trade or Degree level qualifications and those with substantial relevant work experience. These DIAC implemented changes are the latest in a long line of recent policy and regulation shifts. This makes it even more essential that any would be permanent residency visa applicant aims to lodge their paperwork with DIAC before there are yet further government changes. Destination OZ ltd offers a full Australian Visa Service. We also offer a free and comprehensive telephone "visa eligibility assessment".
